Our existing batwing gates to our verandah are rotten and need to be removed. We have new gates to replace them and need these to be hung following removal of the old gates. (new gates shown next to existing gates in 3rd picture) We will provide new hinges and a drop-bolt an would like to reuse the existing key/latch if possible. The new gates are slightly too tall so approx. 1cm will need to be planed off the bottom prior to installation.

There are also some original horsehair plaster cornices and ceiling roses that require repair work. We are looking for a skilled trade in plastering, ideally with experience in horsehair plaster. We are happy to pay based on an hourly rate of $60/hours

Install gyprock ceiling boards on a low internal ceiling. The ceiling is LESS than 2.1m high, the room is L shaped and will be emptied. The ceiling has already battens installed to attach the gyprock boards. 70mm Ceiling Insulation has to be installed together with the gyprock boards. The areas are about 2.55m by 7m, and 2m by 4m. I will buy 2.7m gyprock boards, and 2.4m boards that have to be cut to size as required. Due to the spacing of the ceiling joists, the width of each board has to be cut down, as well as the length. About every other board needs holes cut for downlights. The room is ground level and the gyprock sheets are stored right next to the room, with space to work. Needing the gap between internal rendered wall and gyprock ceiling filled to square set aswell as two gpo’s. Two bedrooms and hallway.

Paint side fence, gate, garden bed render and render along edge of pool and alfresco tiling. One side of fence (including capping) and one side of gate, approximately 16mx1.8m, in two section, mostly lapped and capped. Garden bed render to be painted on front and top edges, approx 24mx0.3m. Patio and pool render one edge only, approx 8mx0.2m and 16mx0.05m. Need 2 coats to all surfaces. We will supply paint, drop sheets and brushes, spraying not an option. Preparing for sale so need extra care taken not to damage plants or get paint on plants and as little as possible on grass. Price negotiable.

Replacement / repairing of eroded and damaged bulstrades

I need two power points installed. They are for a tv and other things to go with the tv. One power point I would like to be 4 plugs if possible and the other one the standard two plugs. There is another power point in the other side of the wall so I imagine it shouldn’t be too hard to organise new wiring.
