Find a professional soundproofing service in VIC

We would like to add soundproofing between the walls of two adjoining bedrooms. The width of the wall is approximately 4 m.

We have a Daikin 18kw system that has been installed near a bedroom as we don’t have anywhere better to position it. It’s quite noisy in winter so we want to look at a soundproofing option.

I I have bought the materials needed to fix the soundproofing material which is a raven industrial soundproof measure to the inside of the sliding door. It needs to be applied with care so that it minimises dragging.

Looking for someone experienced with window draft sealing and DIY sound reduction for a rental property. I’ve just moved into an older apartment with timber awning windows on a busy road. I’m getting noticeable traffic noise and can also feel a draft coming through the closed windows. I’ve already purchased self-adhesive weather seals to try, but I’d love someone with experience to inspect the windows and suggest or install affordable, renter-friendly improvements that could help reduce noise. I’m planning to add heavy curtains, but I suspect the windows themselves are the main issue, so I’m hoping for advice beyond just curtains if possible. I’m not looking for expensive window replacement or permanent renovations—just practical, cost-effective DIY or rental-friendly solutions such as improving the seals, adjusting the window fit, or other ideas to reduce traffic noise. If you’ve done similar work before, I’d love to hear what you’d recommend.

New town houses are going up at the rear of our house. I want to build a soundproofed enclosure for our 3 x air conditioners that are next to the new neighbours small 2m back yard. I would like 2 x 'air gapped' 100mm gap of cement sheeting built. So it is (not touching). Then install soundproofing insulation bats in between the cement sheets or stuck to one side. (i have the Bradford sound proofing bats already to use). I also have the styrofoam insulation sheets that are in the photos that can be attached too. So the person who builds it will also have to build the air gapped cement sheets on the ceiling of the enclosure and then put back the corrugated steel roof. ( I already have heaps of corrugated steel for roof). I would like the person to pull down all the current materials. So they can rebuild the enclosure. There is wooden framing already there. Although I want an additional wooden frame built to ensure its not touching. I would like it to be very well gap filled & caulked so all edges are sound proofed totally. We have a downpipe as pictured that gets noisy at night when it’s raining from the drips that hit the bend. Looking for someone who knows what they are doing to come and insert some kind of material that will stop the noise. The downpipe is upstairs outside our bedroom. Pretty easy access but you will need a ladder to get onto the roof.

2 x walls sound proofing removed and walls cleaned, smoothed out and painted.

We have double glazed windows in our bedrooms but I’m noticing a small gap between the window and the plaster. And I feel like there's some wind getting in and also some sound coming through that gap. The gap is quite small, maybe 1mm but when I slide a piece of paper through it goes in quite a long way. Looking for someone to come and seal the gap properly. 3 windows total.

I bought an apartment but didnt know the soundproofing is terrible! I can hear when my neighbour sneeze, talk and worse when he ons the music in the middle of the night- i can hear it from my unit :( The whole wall adjacent to his needs to be soundproofed - it is 3.7m for bedroom and 4.7m for living room.

My gutter downpipes are very noisy for the water flowing through them when it rains. The noise comes in the rooms thus making it hard to sleep. Need to make them soundproof. Its a double story house and 4-5 downpipes. The work should not result in clogging the pipes.
