Details: * New Tangerine NBN connection. * Tangerine has confirmed I do not require an NBN connection box and that the modem should connect directly via an RJ11/XDSL cable. * The property has multiple wall sockets (coax and RJ45/telephone style), and I need help identifying the correct active DSL outlet. * I have already tested the coax outlets and they do not appear to be the correct connection for this service. * I have the modem on-site, but the supplied cable does not match the wall socket, so the technician may need to provide or recommend the correct cable (RJ45 to RJ11/RJ12 if required). Tasks: * Identify the correct DSL/telephone outlet in the property. * Verify the NBN service is reaching the premises. * Supply/use the correct cable if required. * Configure and connect the modem. * Confirm the internet is working before leaving. Please bring: * RJ11, RJ12 and RJ45 DSL cables/adapters. * Basic networking/NBN testing equipment if available.

Cables are run to other rooms but have no ends at garage.

Internet is down. Roadworks caused nbn issue and is now resolved. Modem needs to be power cycled. Also NAS needs to be upgraded powered on. It’s possible if this doesn’t fix it you may need to talk to provider (Aussie broadband) but unlikely. Also unlikely but bringing a laptop to plug in and to to test may be needed. The device is in a locked cabinet and may need a small ladder for easier access.

We need a network cable to run from the back of our router, under the floor to a bedroom. The crawl space is a bit tight and I don’t like being under the floor which is why I am posting this task. The direct distance between the two points in about 10 meters, but I suspect a cable would need to be 15 meters as it cannot go in a direct line between the two point. There are already holes in the floor at each end so it just needs to go in one end and come out the other. Should be quick for someone who is happy being under the floorboards. Thank you

Telstra have given up after may factory resets and other tests and say I need a qualified electrician (not an IT guy) to check the wiring at the wall where Modem cable plugs in. We have NBN but as a non tech head I've no idea if it's Fibre Optic or HFC. I can give you access to the NBN room. The Modem currently has an orange/red light at the front. We had a complete Internet black out last Friday and I usually have to troubleshoot to get the Internet each day!

My Internet keeps dropping out. Telstra have given up and NBN won't visit unless I have at least 4 total dropouts in a 24 hour period! The 'buck pass' is that I need an electrician to check the wall socket that takes a cable to to the modem. I'm a pensioner and can prove it.

Need to run a power over Ethernet cable from an antenna on the roof through the ceiling and feed it down the wall to the internet router

Have a vodaphone 5g wifi modem - need all devices connected to it and also connect possibly through my router preferably !

Power outage this morning made internet cut out. The modem isn’t connect to the opticomm. I’ve been advised that we need to do a modem reconfiguration with an Ethernet cable. I’d potentially need someone available between 5-8pm today to come out to Berwick to do it. Exetel has sent instructions

I have the modem & router, I’ve called my internet service and it says it’s activated however I still don’t have internet… and my router box keeps going in & out. Am flexible with the date, just want it done asap
