We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented painter to paint the interior of our single-storey character home (circa 1910) in Highgate. The house will be empty and ready for painting from Thursday 18 December, with works ideally completed by 24 December, some flexibility on timing subject to scope and quality. Scope of works includes: • Removal of picture hooks and repatching throughout • Full internal prep (filling, sanding, spot priming as required) • Painting of walls and ceilings throughout • Skirtings, architraves and doors included • Painting of two dark timber fireplace surrounds to white • Painting two small dark timber built-in cupboards white • Painting of two built-in laminate wardrobes - will require appropriate primer + minimum 2 coats • One wardrobe will be dark to white. The second wardrobe set (either side of fireplace) will be a lighter colour change Bathroom is excluded from scope. Colours • Bedrooms, hallway and living areas: similar to existing colours (white) • Kitchen: slightly different colour, but no major dark-to-light change House details • Approx internal area (excluding bathroom): ~90 m² • High ceilings and character details (arches, cornices) • Floors have just been polished — care is essential (drop sheets, protection, socks only) • Secure parking available on site • Paint to be included in the quote – Dulux or similar preferred. Quoting & inspections Inspection availability: Sunday 14 December 10-11am. Will provide address closer to time. Also could be available to inspect Monday and Tuesday if offer not accepted Sunday. There may also be an opportunity to extend the quote to external works for the right painter. Remove remaining cornice and repair any damaged ceiling edges, including areas of missing plaster on the rendered masonry wall behind the old cornice. Room is approximately 2 m × 3 m (bathroom) with rendered masonry walls and a plasterboard ceiling. I’m after a clean square-set (flush-set) finish around the room, ready for paint. Please supply all materials and include any ceiling edge repairs or patching required. Note: The existing cornice didn’t always have plaster behind it, so some extra patching above the wall line will be required.

Building and wall/fence to be pressure hosed. We have the equipment. estimated 2 hours max.

Getting ready for a rental vacate — need a few small wall repairs done: 1️⃣ Remove a wall hook, fill the hole, and touch up paint to match existing wall. 2️⃣ Fill and touch up a few small dents. You will need to supply all materials (filler, paint, tools, etc). Looking for a clean, professional job suitable for end-of-lease condition.

There are two very small holes in the stairwell of our house, caused by moving furniture up the stairs. Seeking someone who can plaster over these holes to restore smooth finish and then repaint. Have paint but do not have the wall repair materials. - Due date: Before Wednesday, 19th Jan 2022
