NEED HELP FIXING OFFICE CHAIR + STAND UP DESK I need someone to help me fix my office chair that keeps going down when I sit on it. I have a feeling there is something wrong with the gas lift, not sure how to fix it. I also have a stand up desk - and when I click the button, only one side goes up, and the other stays down, which might be broken as well. I have an Officeworks Pago chair that needs fixing. I ‘think’ the gas strut may have gone - it won’t stay put at the height you want and just sinks to the lowest level. As an environmentally conscious person, I am loathe to throw it out, but the quote I have received from a ‘proper’ chair repair place was more than half the cost of a brand new one! Happy to move a little on this price as I don’t know for sure it’s the gas strut, but I do know that these can be purchased for around $20-25 dollars. I would need you to get one once confirmed that is the problem. Happy to answer questions. But don’t want to be paying anything like the $150 the repair shop want to charge!
