Task Details: Hi, I need someone to help repair or replace my letterbox at my property in Beveridge. The current letterbox is damaged and may need replacing. I’d like it to be the same or as close as possible to the existing style, as required by my property manager. Brick letterbox needs repair

The spring on one side of the opening has come off so the whole opening is now off. Also I don’t have a key for the letterbox. The letterbox is fixed into brickwork so prefer repair but can be replaced if needed.

Task will require : • Removing an existing letterbox (not sure if it is cemented in) • Installing a new letterbox in-ground and securing it properly (cement installation if required)

The front panel of our brick-in front opening letterbox was stolen. The original letterbox is no longer available but I have obtained an alternative which is very similar. The new letterbox is the same height but 12 mm wider. The task we need to be done is removal of the remainder of the original letterbox and installation of the new one. This may require removal and reinstallation of a few bricks.

It is the Northcote Pottery 26x26x89cm Slate Campbell Pillar Letterbox from Bunnings

Need to install a letterbox in a vertical blade fence. Fence require to be cut to install the letterbox.

Need to put a new letter box with concrete.

Over time, brick letterbox has had the mortar worn away mostly at the top and was leaking a bit into the letters Silicon was put in in as a temp measure probably 5-10 years ago but looks pretty bad. Need mortar to be added to the gaps mostly at the top but a bit on the sides too where necessary and then once dry maybe a day or 2 later have it sealed. May need some WD-40 or mentholated spirits to remove the silicon too. Should a pretty simple job for a handyman

Need letterbox installation. Asked bunnings support they told me that it needs to be a plain surface so concreting may/will also be required for the letterbox installation. I have attached the picture of how the front it yet and have also added the letterbox I’m looking to buy.
