Need someone to insulate my Mercedes Vito 2009 111 CDI extra long, 2 sliding doors, no back windows, already has a wooden floor so just need the roof and walls. Happy to buy the insulation supplies, but would prefer the handyman to organise the wood pallets/measuring the sizes. Need the insulation installation done in preferably 1-2 days as I'm currently living in it with basic removable set up & will need to organise alternative accommodation to take out all my belongings to give you a clean shell :) Looking for a Dark brown wood finish. I've been living in the van without insulation for almost a year - in survival mode due to it needing constant major repairs that I've invested in instead of building it. Now with our first melb chilly night it's quite unbearable, so hoping to get this done asap. Would prefer someone who has experience & can provide examples of the work they've done. Install insulation and a decorative ceiling on a small aluminium Louvre roof (~6.3 m²) in my sunroom. All materials will be supplied, including EPDM rubber sheet, MLV rolls, PIR Foilboard panels, Dekko PVC panels, adhesives, and fixings. Scope: cut all materials to size on site. Glue EPDM to blade tops for weatherproofing, attach MLV strips to blade undersides using adhesive and screws/washers, fit PIR boards under blades as a continuous insulation layer with foil tape on all joins, then install Dekko PVC panels as the final ceiling finish with a neat appearance inside the sunroom. Tools required: cutter, drill/screw gun, ladder, and PPE. Estimated time frame is 1–2 days depending on approach. I’m looking for a reliable ceiling insulation installer to correctly install insulation across around 150m² of ceiling space. The batts must be installed properly to maximise efficiency. The roof cavity is wide, clear, and very easy to access through the manhole. I will be supplying all materials — Knauf Earthwool R5 ceiling batts (580mm). I will also be able to assist you by passing the batts up through the manhole, so that you do not have to constantly climb up and down. We have insulation that needs to put above the ceiling, about 10m2 area in garage. Garage has access to the roof.

I need to have the old insulation bats removed from the roof of my home. It’s 5 bedrooms, a hallway and bathroom in terms of size. Can you quote for removal of the bats and disposal (separately). There will be a follow on job to install insulation that we can discuss once the tradie has done their work.

Following a renovation, where insulation was removed, I need new insulation installed. Will require entry to the roof space from above (tiled roof). The area is roughly 50sqm (I cannot be precise as the ceiling is in now place). Photos are taken during the renovation! We’re looking for someone to finish our insulation installation. There are approximately 8 bags of batts ceiling insulation to lay.

Job is to install floor insulation across our house, approx 100sqm. Install is done from above as there is extremely low clearance underneath. Everything is up in the house. Work does not include bathroom area. You will need to work around a bunch of floorboards (example pictured), but they will be laid in tandem with your work so will get more out of your way as time goes on. Insulation and tooling is provided. Most of the insulation is polyester rolls that just need stapling directly to joists. Some (~15sqm) is batts and strapping that need to be installed. !Important: Job needs to be done in tandem with our floorer who is starting on morning of 27th, as our timelines have been completely chewed up. Polyester rolls are arriving on 27th but prior to their arrival, batts will need to be installed in order for floorer to lay. Being able to do this is a timely fashion is super important to us so that we don’t hold up the floorer, as well as being able to work as a team (with our floorer) and prioritise areas that he needs done. I believe this is a ~6-8hr job for one person or 3-4hr for two.

We would like someone to finish installing our underfloor insulation in our house on Coburg. We've done about 85 per cent ourselves, and are a bit over being under the house. The remainder is the bits that are a bit more difficult to get to, or are oddly shaped gaps, approx 10 squares metres. It's polyester insulation which is much easier to install than the glass fibre. No strapping required, you just staple the edges directly to the timber.
