Wall preparation for solar battery and cable organising. The wall itself is only 1.7m wide x 2.1m high. I'm getting a solar battery installed and whilst not legally required, keen to get some prep work done on the wall make the whole thing safer. Once the wall is done then attach some fixings to hide the nbn box and cables so it's neat. 1) the battery wall part: - remove old plasterboard carefully as there's a lot of wires/cables behind the wall - add insulation batts (supplied) - add 17mm plywood (supplied) - add fyrcheck plasterboard (supplied, pieces) and finish so nice clean flat fireproofed wall surface again. - optional to repaint (I have the paint to match, but depending on time) 2) modem-cable tidy up part: - there's an nbn box on top right of wall - have bought some fixtures like a cover box, floating shelf, cable pipe/trunking so it looks neater and is up out of the way (pics included). The modem cover will need assembling. What's not supplied: - tools, screws, nails etc - plaster compounds, paper joint tape, sand paper, brushes etc The jobs have the flexibility to be done over a couple of non consecutive days such sat 18 jan (all day), sun 19 jan (up to 10am), wed 22 Jan (all day), Fri 24Jan (all day), sat 25 Jan (all day). Based in Taigum (5 mins north of chermside westfield). Please respond with your offer, availability/preferred start date and if painting the wall is possible.

The fan is a Mercator Grange B22 Series about 4 years old - its working but seems to spin slower compared to the others in the house - youtube would suggest it's the capacitor that needs replacing?

I'm looking for a handyman who can supply and fit a door guide for a wooden sliding door between the garage and house. It's a wooden door, no grooves. The rollers are that the top and it needs to be a wall fastened door guide as the door doesn't go right down to the floor. I'm including photos of the old broken one, and the space between the door and floor.
