I'm installing a solar battery in the location below the eaves in the picture. I would like the applicant to provide and install some fire protection below the eaves in the unlikely event of a fire. I am looking to get a fire protection panel, 0.6m by 1.8m installed about 30 cm below the eaves perpendicular to the wall with a 10 cm lip on the outer edge to prevent the flames curling around the board. Suggested or Improvements in design from fire professionals welcome.

We’re preparing our home for sale and need a ceiling repair done around a skylight in the kitchen. The area has some previous water damage (now fixed), and the gyprock is cracked and peeling. The job involves: • Removing damaged gyprock • Re-sheeting, setting, and sanding • Blending in or repainting affected area (or entire ceiling if needed) • Ensuring clean finish around downlight and skylight trim

We have problems with water coming in to our garage from under two garage doors. The guy from B&D doors was here and said that we need to fix the area around our drainage, so that it’s higher than the drainage itself. Maybe to pour some cement there to fill the holes, as well as to take out the plastic from the drainage, make it shorter and put it back in, so it’s lower than its existing height. He also advised getting a weather strip and glue it to the floor. Can anyone help with all these? I’ve contacted a few handymen but they all said they couldn’t do it 😣
