Task: Repair / re-hang external gate – hinge failure due to wood rot I need a handyman or carpenter to fix the hinges on my external side gate. The gate has a metal frame with vertical wooden battens. One of the hinges has pulled away because the wooden fence post/stud it was fixed to has rotted. Job likely involves removing the gate, repairing or replacing the affected section of timber (or installing a new mounting plate/post), and securely re-attaching or replacing the hinge so the gate opens and closes properly. Gate is outdoors and exposed to weather. Materials and fix should be suitable for exterior use.

I am currently having landscaping work done, and a trench has been dug for a retaining wall to be setup. Before the wall is complete and soil backfilled, I would like to run electrical cabling to have it terminate in at junction box at the front of the property for future use. Open to how connection connects back to property - whether wired or just connecting to an outdoor power point. Distance run is approx 15-18m.

Need help either repairing or replacing the latch on my gate as the gate has moved and it doesn’t latch properly, so the gate swings open. Might need to replace with a different latch so need help figuring out the best latch if so.

Fix my side gate so it closes

Repair glass pool gate which has dropped and not closing by itself properly

Steel gate post with three simple hinges; each hinge consists of a barrel fixed to the gate, and a pin fixed to the post. Each of the three parts attached to the post needs an additional 50mm x 50mm x 5mm thick plate (provided by customer, shown in blue outline) welded with 5mm cfw all round to strengthen the connection of the pin side of the hinge to the gate. An additional short bead of weld to back of existing plate also required (shown dashed, in red). Customer will remove gate for good access all round. Prep’ including local brushing back of paint on existing metal needs to be included in quote. Single phase 240V power available. Customer to paint after completion.

Add a side gate for my home. I have the gate but no brackets or sides. I do have extra panels if needed

Gate Door Latch needs to be repaired/ replaced.

One steel slat fell off the gate (probably someone pulled too hard). Need to be welded top and bottom

The front gate on the fence does not remain closed. I suspect this is because of the land movement, and the bolts on the gates (~3) requires readjustment. In the attached photo, the gate is currently blocked by the bin. The handle is where the gap is big enough that the gate doesn't remain closed.

Our bottom gate latch has come loose and the swing gate has dropped a little (so it does not close properly). We need someone to re-attach the metal latch to the metal post. You will need to drill a new hole on the other side of the post and then thread a long screw throgh. I thnk I have some spare screws. We have done this for the top latch but not the bottom. See photos which shoulkd explain what I mean.
