I need assistance replacing the rotten wood and re-hanging a gate that has collapsed. The wood on each side of the gate that is attached to the fence and the house is completely rotten and needs replacing and re-attaching. The gate will then need to be re-hung and aligned. Our bottom gate latch has come loose and the swing gate has dropped a little (so it does not close properly). We need someone to re-attach the metal latch to the metal post. You will need to drill a new hole on the other side of the post and then thread a long screw throgh. I thnk I have some spare screws. We have done this for the top latch but not the bottom. See photos which shoulkd explain what I mean.
