I need a skilled handyman to help fix squeaky or loose wooden floorboards in my place. The floorboards are under wall-to-wall carpet, so you will need to temporarily lift sections of the carpet to access the floorboards, then securely refit the carpet afterward. I am making a large artwork from carpet (180cmx160cm) to be exhibited in an art gallery in March. I am using Tretford goat hair carpet https://www.tretford.eu/en/products/collection/ever/ I have cut the carpet in my design but I need help gluing the carpet onto a surface (I have a 180x160cm wooden board made from MDF with a thin piece of archival matboard on top for the carpet to be affixed to) Tretford requires a specified Adhesive (Tretford 240) - this will NOT be supplied and need you to bring this or something similar. I need someone with great attention to detail as I have spent weeks cutting this carpet exactly to size - If shrinkage should occur (which it warns about on the instructions if not done properly) then I will expect you to cut replacement pieces from the extra carpet I still have. I will need someone to come to my art studio in Woolloomooloo to complete this task preferably in the week starting Jan 30.
