Issues: Covered section is stable, but the exposed middle area (approx. 5m x 10m) has sunk, twisted, and become uneven BBQ area has significantly sunk under load Pool glass fence is fixed through the deck and has leaned backwards Some timber underneath is rotten Scope (guide): Inspect subframe and confirm structural issues Lift sections of decking as required Repair and replace damaged/rotten structural timber members (joists/bearers) Install additional concrete footings/piers where required (reactive soil) Improve support and correct joist spacing (~300–350mm) Address BBQ load area with proper support Provide a proper independent support solution for the pool fence Re-lay boards (some replacement may be needed) Identify and rectify all underlying structural issues using appropriate and long-term solutions We are looking for a proper structural solution (not a patch repair) and would appreciate a clearly defined scope of works with a fixed-price quote after inspection. Proven experience specifically in deck construction and structural repairs (including subframe, footings, and load support) is preferred, along with a workmanship warranty on structural work. I am looking for a licensed carpenter to provide me with a quote for a repair of my outdoor deck. Part of the outdoor deck (part that’s exposed to the rain) has damaged over time.
