I have two washing-machine taps that protrude quite far from the wall. This prevents my stacked washer and dryer from being pushed further back. I’m looking for a licensed plumber who can advise whether these can be replaced with much more compact/low-profile washing-machine valves, preferably with downward or sideways hose connections. My aim is to reduce the projection from the wall by approximately 5–7 cm, or as much as reasonably possible.
