Looking for an experienced handyman to safely remove an old window air conditioner from an upstairs bedroom. This is a window-style unit, not a split system. It has its own power cord plugged into a normal wall power point and does not appear to be hard-wired. The unit is quite heavy and is supported by a metal frame/brackets on the outside of the upstairs window (see photos). I need someone with appropriate experience and equipment to remove the air conditioner and external supports carefully and safely, without anything falling onto the roof/area below. The air conditioner is still working. The person removing it is welcome to take it if wanted; otherwise I would like it brought downstairs so I can dispose of it through council clean-up. I would also be interested in a quote to make the window usable again afterwards, including fitting a flyscreen if this is something you can do. Low water pressure in 2 story queenslander.....my niebours have great pressue..I struggle to run 2 showers...need advice and fix

I have two new hosepipes from XO (one grey and one pink both pictured) I am currently injured but I have managed to get the fixtures onto the grey one. I need someone to do the following: The pink needs to fixtures placing on the hose and the tap and needs to be connected to the tap. The grey needs connecting to the tap. They both come with hose holders which just slide over the tap. I DO NOT need the holders attached to the wall.

Scaffolding will remain in place, providing easy access. Painting will be carried out next week, so minor nicks/abrasions to the timber beam during the work are not an issue. We’re moving out of our South Yarra apartment and want to get it inspection-ready to secure our bond back. Looking for a general handyman to come give the place a once-over and patch up minor marks and damage before our final inspection. What we need: • Walk through the apartment and touch up scuffs, marks and small dents on walls and ceilings (paint colour matching where needed) • Fill and patch a few small gouges/chips (wall corner, architrave, wall dents) • Supply and fit a cover plate for a double power point that’s missing its faceplate • If possible, repair a small chip in a floor tile — happy for you to take a look, but not a dealbreaker if it can’t be done Please bring your own filler, paint/touch-up supplies and a standard power point cover.
