Find experienced local carpenters in Caulfield South

I am looking for help with the following woodwork restoration project. I have these 8 wooden legs (see picture) that have been out in his backyard for decades, but apart from some rot at the tops, they are in very good condition. I would like to have them resanded, and then glued into 2 decorative totems, 4 legs for each of the two totems. Hopefully lining up some of the circumferences on each so that they can join smoothly, and then using long metal dowels or similar to strengthen each join. Then maybe a white wash/stain finish to bring out the grain further. Thanks for your time!

We are looking for someone to build in a simple, small desk and shelving in a bedroom. Includes covering cement sheeting with floor boards and replacing skirt where previous shelving has been removed. Happy to use recycled wood if you have a supply we can select from (or we can source). Straight lines, not fancy. Desk 102cm long and 46 cm deep. Whilst we have suggested $500, we have no idea what something like this costs so keen to hear from anyone who is interested and discuss cost re labor and wood etc.

Looking for someone handy and experienced to help with a small balcony setup at my apartment. It’s a rental, so everything needs to be removable and damage-free when I move out — no drilling, nothing permanent. What I need done: • Install fake grass (need to purchase or happy to follow your guidance) • Add vertical timber-look panels against a section of the wall for aesthetics + storage potential • Ideally get advice on how best to secure everything down (grass, panels, anything else) in a way that’s solid and clean, but won’t leave marks or damage when removed • Bonus if you can help me level it out neatly or suggest mats under the fake grass for grip and bounce Balcony dimensions: • Bigger section: 510cm (L) x 268cm (W) • Smaller section: 360cm (L) x 191cm (W) Everything will be going on top of outdoor tiles (can show original + AI pics). There’s an outdoor aircon unit that’ll stay where it is. Open to ideas or smarter ways to do it, as long as it looks clean and modern when finished. Ideally looking for someone with attention to detail and experience doing this kind of thing on rentals. Job Details: Good access (frame will be built to the front of the proerty) All materials provided, including the prefabricated timber frame. The frame will be installed on prefabricated bearers and joists, which sit on Surefoot foundations. I will assist with any elements that require two people. i-Build estimates that the frame should take approximately two weeks to complete. I also need a small breezeway built to connect the new home to my existing house (materials provided by i-Build). Requirements: Experience with timber frame construction preferred. A bench top with a laundry sink approximately 2 m length. With some bottom cabinets.( picture one shows where I’d like the new bench top with sink on the right hand side. Hello! We’ve installed a new oven into our kitchen which was different dimensions to our old one. This has left some gaps which we would like to fill with panels and potentially a drawer. We also have a broken drawer which is the wrong size needing adjustment, and would like to add some additional cabinets in the gap above our fridge too. I want to cut a part of an inbuilt desk. See picture - the part to be cut is marked in red. Where it was attached to the wall might need patching up. I also need a trim glued to the cut edge that I will provide. I also need a small clothes rail cut and installed into a wardrobe. I have the rail and fittings.
