My gas cooktop’s (bottom right burner)ignition system is continuously clicking (sparking)every 2 secs even when all the knobs are off. One of the ignition wires was constantly triggering, so I cut the yellow ignition lead, but the module still keeps sparking. It seems like either: one of the burner ignition switches (microswitch) is stuck, the ignition wiring is shorted, or the ignition module itself is faulty. I need someone who knows gas cooktop ignition systems to: give me advice how to eliminate the problem. I do not mind disabling this one particular burner as I never use it anyway. The cooktop is already opened up, so access is easy. Looking for someone experienced with appliance repair or gas stove ignition systems. Gas pipe capped in two places. Please quote for each job One is where a gas ducted heater was removed please see photo, the pipe was left sticking out and is a trip hazard Second is under the house to cap the gas for a wall mounted gas heater in the loungeroom.

My kitchen rangehood extractor fan is dripping a significant amount of oil, even when it’s not in use. The fan itself still runs normally, but oil leaks from the centre of the unit and collects on the cooktop. The issue may be due to blocked filters, ducting problems, or internal grease buildup. I am not sure. I need an experienced technician to inspect, clean, and repair it properly.
