It is an undermount rangehood that is the original model installed in the apartment (make and model unknown). This will need to be removed prior to the installation of the new model. Note that the current rangehood does not sufficiently cover the gas cooktop and performs poorly. - New rangehood installation: We are planning on purchasing a Westinghouse 60cm Slideout Stainless Steel rangehood (WRR626SB) as this seems to fit our requirements and appears to fit with the correct dimensions (W598mm D300mm H273mm). There is a chance that some minor cabinetry work may need to be done for clearance on the bottom, but please advise if this is necessary. As pictured, please feel free to use the existing ducting, but please advise if any extra ducting cost is necessary.
