Hi, I need someone to help install a slide-out rangehood. I already have the required screws and parts. The issue is that the existing holes in the cabinet do not line up with the new slide-out rangehood, so new holes need to be drilled into the cabinet board for proper installation. The rangehood will be used in recirculation mode, so no ducting/exhaust pipe connection is required. Please bring tools for drilling and installation. Thank you.

I need a licensed electrician to replace an old electric cooktop and a rangehood in my kitchen with new appliances. Details: Existing cooktop: Old Westinghouse electric cooktop with knobs (already on a dedicated circuit). New cooktop: Bosch PXX695 (7.4kW / 32A) induction cooktop. New rangehood: Westinghouse 60cm Fixed White Rangehood WRF610WA. Scope of work: Disconnect and remove old appliances, install and wire the new Bosch cooktop and the new Westinghouse rangehood. Straight swap into the existing cutouts, no countertop cutting required. Ducting: Replace the old flexible ducting/pipe with new ducting for the new rangehood. Switchboard: May require upgrading the existing fuse/circuit breaker to a compliant RCBO to meet current AS/NZS 3000 standards for the new induction unit. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Must be a Licensed Electrician (license verification will be required). I need an experienced handy person to install a re-circulating rangehood into an existing kitchen cavity. The rangehood is re-circulating (no ducting or electrical work required). The overall objective is to install the rangehood, but there are some anticipated steps (but I will require you to do all things necessary to install the rangehood within the agreed price): 1. The cabinetry has 2 ‘filler’ blocks obstructing the rangehood slot. These need to be cleanly removed without damaging surrounding cabinetry. I’m unsure how they are affixed to the surrounding cabinetry (by screws, glue or other). You may need to temporarily remove and re-hang the cabinet doors to get proper access. 2. Drilling new holes through the cabinet shelf, in order to align with the top of the rangehood, and securely mounting the rangehood unit. I will provide the rangehood and its standard mounting screws and the access to the power outlet, but cannot supply any tools or other materials. I do not require any ducting/electrical work, cleaning or removal of old rangehood. I’m looking for a total fixed-price quote to complete the installation.

Looking for someone with kitchen cabinet experience to help install a new 900mm x 300mm sliding rangehood. The new rangehood vent area is larger than the existing one, so the surrounding cabinetry will need careful adjustment to accommodate it. We need someone who can handle both the installation itself and make the necessary modifications to the existing cabinets, keeping everything looking neat and intact. The cupboard is 300 deep, the current air vent area is 200, but new one is 300 deep, so the lower shelf area needs to be adjusted out effectively.
