I have a bifold laundry door and some of the hinges have rusted. I’ve bought 3 new hinges but can’t get them in.

Im seeking quote replace heavy sliding door rollers in dee why looks like a similar roller to R1018 roller. Price per door, as might need 3 done. Doors where installed in 1967. Thanks Scott

Door is stuck as roller has deteriorated

The top corner of the window flyscreen has popped out. It’s on the 2nd floor, and we don’t have a big enough ladder to reach it safely. Could someone please take a look? I’d prefer not to just push it back in, as it may pop out again. I’m hoping for a more permanent fix, possibly replacing the flyscreen if it’s a sizing/fitting issue. It also doesn’t have any pull tabs, which makes it impossible to pull it in from inside when it pops out. Please provide a quote if you can help.

I’m replacing old locks/levers on 3 internal doors with new Gainsborough Matte Black Choice Harper Square Privacy Lever Sets (60mm backset, 54mm bore, 25mm edge bore — I’ll supply the handles, latches and instructions). The old hardware has already been removed. Scope: 1. Patch 2 door edges: two doors had mortice locks, leaving rectangular cavities in the door edges. These need solid timber infill blocks, glued and packed tight, planed/sanded flush — the new 25mm latch bore and faceplate screws go straight through the patched area, so it must be solid. Please bring suitable timber and adhesive. • Door 1 (bathroom): cavity approx. 100mm high x 17.5mm wide, door thickness 34.8mm • Door 2 (second bathroom): cavity approx. 57mm high x 16mm wide, door thickness 34mm • Please verify cavity depth on site — I haven’t measured it 2. Drill new holes in all 3 doors: 54mm face bore at 60mm backset + 25mm edge bore. Third door (bedroom, 34mm thick) has no cavity — drill and fit only. Note: all 3 doors have existing old spindle holes (~14–23mm) that overlap the new bore centre, so a hole saw pilot bit won’t have material to engage. You’ll need to clamp a sacrificial board over the face to guide the hole saw, or use a lock installation jig. The old holes fall entirely within the new 54mm bore and will be drilled away. 3. Install the 3 lever sets including latches and strike plates, chiselling strike plate recesses in the jambs as needed, and confirm doors latch and the privacy function works. Doors can stay on their hinges. Painting/finishing not required. You’ll need a 54mm hole saw, 25mm spade/auger bit and chisels.

Install fly screen to door may be different in size not slot but may need adjustments

We need a handyman to complete several works around the studio, including installing a supplied 55-inch TV and wall mount on a plasterboard wall, installing one supplied boardroom blind approximately 250cm x 240cm, removing two broken blinds and installing three supplied replacement blinds, 120cm x 240cm each, removing the existing 180cm x 90cm glass artwork from the boardroom and replacing it with a 180cm x 90cm whiteboard, then rehanging the glass artwork in the nearby hallway. We also need two A1-sized artworks hung in line with the existing artworks, as well as a door handle and door closer repaired. The weight of the glass artwork and whiteboard is unknown and may need to be assessed on site to determine the appropriate fixings.

My laundry door doesn’t close properly the hinge is off

I have 2 old internal doors that need to be re-hung on the opposite sides to their current location (both are off the door jam atm). 1 door is a bedroom and other is a bathroom door.

Looking for someone experienced with sliding door tracks/carpentry to inspect and correctly reattach/align the top holder to the ceiling. Photos attached showing the current sag.

Heavy dryer, requires two men to lift and put onto shelf in laundry. Then require cupboard door screwed back on laundry cupboard.

Need someone to shave a few centimetres off the bottom of 2 internal doors after new carpet installation. Both doors are recently painted, so care is needed to avoid damaging the finish. Looking for someone experienced with door trimming/carpentry who can do a neat job and reinstall if needed.

One of our bathroom doors at our cafe has been broken. As per pics the hinges have been torn off so we will need either some plates to overlay the original hinge areas or new partitioning/structure.. Open to ideas
