We’re looking for an experienced concrete renderer, screeder or floor-levelling specialist to carry out light cosmetic patching and levelling on two existing outdoor concrete areas. Both areas are covered and protected from direct weather. The concrete is structurally sound but has minor cracks, surface texture and small uneven sections. The goal is not a full structural screed or mesh reinforcement, but to smooth and even out the surface so outdoor rugs or clip-together deck tiles sit flat and safely. ⸻ Scope of Work • Surface cleaning and preparation • Patch and fill minor cracks, dips and imperfections • Light levelling using a cement-based patching or feather-finish product suitable for outdoor use (or thin screed only where required) • Feather edges to avoid visible height transitions • Maintain existing fall for drainage • Cosmetic finish only

I have some temporary timber walls/doors that I can’t hang by myself. Some level of carpentry might be needed.

Door needs to be hung back , everything in place but due to new floor being laid, the door requires around 5-10mm off the bottom to put back in place. If possible at the same time new door architraves on the inside.

I need a skilled carpenter/handyperson to construct a battened backing frame (three-sided box) for an outdoor shower installation beside our pool area. I will source materials. Tasker must have own tools and demonstrate experience. Estimate for labour only. Detail: Build a frame: 2100 mm high and 1600 mm wide, depth approx 320 mm behind the front upright posts (posts fixed to the concrete slab and tied into the existing fence behind, using rails behind palings). Fix two upright posts at front (to the concrete slab) and secure the back of the frame to the existing fence (~320 mm behind front posts). Fit cladding (battens) on the front and two sides of the box, using durable outdoor-rated material (treated hardwood battens, composite slats, or engineered panels) with a weatherproof finish suitable for a pool-adjacent/exterior environment. On one of the short side panels: make it dismountable (e.g., removable panel with bolts/screws, or hinged door) to allow access behind the shower mounting for plumbing servicing. Provide a reinforced mounting area behind the cladding for the future outdoor shower unit (to be installed separately by a plumber). Ensure the backing is structurally sound at the point the shower mixer/shower head will fix. Seal/treat all timber appropriately for outdoor exposure: apply sealer/paint/finish and ensure fixings are marine-grade or corrosion-resistant. Clean up all debris and leave site tidy on completion.

Need to replace a door in our laundry that leads to the backyard. Bought a door at Bunnings that need to be cut to fit. Reuse existing hinges if possible or provide new ones (paid separately). Ideal timeframe is between 8:30 AM and midday this Thursday.

cupboard doors on a corner under cabinet are misaligned. Where they meet, they are overlapping. Sagging doors, needing new hinges and tools for new installation which may be drilling a new 35mm diameter hole for fitting etc. Possbily a cabinet maker job. Single door is 110, bifold is approximately 70 and inner bifold is approximately 180.
