I’m looking for an experienced tradesperson (or small team) to install a single pocket sliding door in a non-loadbearing stud wall in a bathroom. Scope of works: - Remove an existing doorway and close it up: rebuild studwork as needed, plasterboard, skim, and make good (painting not required) - Create a new doorway opening approx to the left of the existing one. - Fit a pocket door system I will supply - Plumbing adjustment needed: - There is central-heating pipework currently in the pocket zone which will need rerouting so the pocket can be clear. - Move a heated towel rail approx 0.5m to the right, reconnect to -CH, refill/bleed/test. Finishing - Bathroom has no tiles. - Finishes are simple: plaster made good ready for painting - Skirting/trim is basic. Requirements - Please confirm you have experience fitting pocket doors and making good. - Please include a rough estimate and availability, there is no rush - Ideally can quote after a quick visit, or I can share photos/video and measurements.

The side panel has some damage where screws have pulled out, so this will need reinforcing properly (not just a quick fix). The wardrobe is already assembled – I just need: • Top rail secured correctly • Structure reinforced (brackets/wood support if needed) • Sliding door realigned and working smoothly Brackets are available, but please bring appropriate tools and fixings if needed. Hi, I am looking for a carpenter to help us with some doors in the house we moved to recently- there are 2 that are new and need to be hung up (they don’t have hardware, so that all needs to be done) and 1 old Edwardian door that needs to be flipped to open to the other side now.
