The BT engineer has set up the Wi-Fi in the garage, where the fibre connection is available. However, I need to extend the Wi-Fi to the other rooms. The previous owner has installed some cabling throughout the house, but I’m not sure how to set it up or connect it to the Wi-Fi. The BT guy advised "If you want the router in the house - you can make one of the old copper cables in to an Ethernet cable and plug the router in one end and the other end in the ONT (white box I’ve put on the wall) Or get a long (50m) Ethernet cable and run that from the ONT to where ever you want in the house"

Persistent WIFI issues and connectivity to Sky. Particularly with upstairs bedroom. Have Sky booster and WiFi extenders in place. Have recently upgraded Sky broadband so have a new router but still no improvement.

New home renovation currently stripped back to brick. Looking for an experienced installer to complete first-fix Cat6 network cabling, WiFi access point cabling, and CCTV/PoE camera cabling before walls are closed. Requirements: • Install quality Cat6 solid copper cabling (not CCA) • Around 10 network points throughout the home • Cabling for 2 WiFi access points • Cabling for security cameras and doorbell point • Run cables neatly back to a central location • Label, terminate and test all points

We have a hole through a wall but it's not big enough to fit our internet cable. I've tried drilling it but I don't have a long or thick enough drill bit to get the width needed to get the cable through. With the right tools this should be a fairly quick job (5-10 minutes)

Got new BT WiFi two days ago, when set up the box flashed yellow, phoned BT and they couldn’t work out the issue so said would have to send engineer, but would have to wait over a week for someone to come out
