I accidentally spilt food into the back of my oven when I was cooking a lasagne (it is an electric oven and the food was spilt into the fan at the back). I have thoroughly cleaned the oven but the food must be still in the fan, so every time we use it it burns and it unusable. The oven tripped the fusebox and then wouldn’t come back on. It was recently installed (hard wired) so we need to fix that. Presumably the fuse on the oven itself has blown. Would need to take the oven out of its slot. The other job is to replace a light fitting as the bulb and the thing that houses the bulb has come off so there are two wires only. Need to replace with a standard light fitting.
Worth getting a qualified electrician to do your electrical work vs a general handyman. Great experience, very nice guy who clearly knows his stuff.
