The shower is a concealed Pura thermostatic shower (photos attached). The main issue is faulty temperature control: the water only gets hot when turned fully to maximum, a very small adjustment makes it go from very hot to cold, and it takes a long time for hot water to come through. The rest of the temperature range does very little. Based on research, this appears most likely to be a failed or scaled thermostatic cartridge, or a temperature stop/calibration issue. The shower otherwise works and there are no leaks. If, once inspected, the cartridge is not the cause, I’m happy for you to advise on the next appropriate step without replacing the full concealed valve or removing tiles unless absolutely necessary.

My shower is leaking into the neighbour below. The leak is from the damaged silicon around the shower tray. I want a more permanent fix. I want the shower door removed, then the shower tray removed. The bottom row of the tiles removed, and then the area under the shower tray covered with membrane (onto the wall surrounding it, where the bottom row of the tiles was). Then everything put back in place.
