Tasks include: Scope of Work: Install Wooden Flooring (Approx. 12m²) Remove any existing flooring (if needed). Lay wooden flooring neatly and professionally in one room (approx. 12 square meters). Ensure clean finishing at edges and around skirting boards. Wardrobe Dismantling & Reassembly Dismantle a sliding-door wardrobe in one room. Transport and reassemble it in the adjacent room carefully, ensuring all components are intact and sliding mechanism functions properly. Furniture/TV Transfer Move a bed and TV from one room to the other. Mount or position the TV securely (wall-mounting if needed – please bring your own tools). Room Tidy-up/Cleaning (Optional but Preferred) Clear any dust/debris post-job. General tidy-up to leave both rooms usable. Other Info: Both rooms are side by side. The job includes: Installing a lintel to support the fireplace opening Cleaning the back wall of the fireplace – there’s some hard residue (possibly old concrete/mortar) and black soot/discoloration that needs removing to expose clean brick Sealing or coating the exposed brickwork to stop brick dust from falling Tiling the hearth area at the base (I already have the tiles – they just need laying) You’ll need to provide: The lintel and sealant (I’m not sure what’s best, so I’d appreciate your advice) Tools and materials to complete the job (excluding the tiles) The structure is already open – I just need it finished off professionally so it looks great, is safe, and doesn’t cause dust issues.
