Hi! I’m looking for a qualified appliance repair technician to take a look at our Indesit 8kg tumble dryer in NW3 (Hampstead area). The dryer powers on and makes a humming sound, but the drum is not spinning. There is resistance when turned manually, so we believe the belt is intact — it may be a motor capacitor issue or something similar. Hisense washer dryer has stopped drying, when I turn on a dry cycle it has error code F17 always after 24 minute. It appears to be a fault with the heating function or potentially overheating as even after 24 minutes the contents are not warm

I have a Potterton boiler that was fixed and serviced at the beginning of 2023 with new parts (Pump, Flue, Motors, wiring etc). There seems to be either a pressure issue or wiring issue that needs looking at. Boiler is switching on, then off after a few mins.

My washing machine softener compartment keeps filling with water every time I do a load of washing. I am not putting any softener in it, but I would like to in future. Also, it smells very mouldy (from previous tenant), so if there is a way to clear the pipes or any other alternative to helping with this I would love to know!
