We currently have a builder in who is doing some renovations to our 2 bed flat. They’re running behind and we’d like to get some support to help finish the job more quickly. Likely to commence from 12th March.

One bedroom needs two coats of white paint applied to ceiling and walls. New carpet has been put in so it’s essential that it’s done carefully and precisely. I will provide the paint - I have bought that already (white Matt finish) but no other tools.

Kitchen Cupboard & Worktop Painting – Colour Change. Expected to be 6-8 hours of total work. We’re looking for an experienced painter/decorator (ideally with kitchen cabinet experience) to refresh our kitchen units. Scope of works: Kitchen cupboards and drawer fronts are currently a blue/grey MDF (or similar composite wood). We would like all cupboard doors and drawer fronts professionally repainted to a new colour (paint will be provided). The worktop, which is currently brown/wood effect, also needs to be painted to a different colour (paint provided – please advise if a specific primer/sealer is required). All existing handles to be removed and painted black, and refitted after. Reinstall doors and ensure everything is aligned properly after refitting. Important: Proper preparation is essential (cleaning, degreasing, sanding, priming if needed). We’re looking for a durable, smooth finish suitable for a kitchen environment. Please advise what additional materials you may need (primer, sealant, sanding materials, protective sheets etc.). Care must be taken to protect flooring, appliances and surrounding areas. Experience with MDF/composite cabinets is preferred. Please confirm: Your experience with similar jobs (photos welcome). Estimated duration of the job. Would like walls painted (in a new-build so they are just white currently). Hallway will be 1 colour, the open-plan kitchen/living room will be two different colours. Minimal furniture to work around, can move what is there in advance and remove frame from walls. Will take curtains down in living room but need to paint around curtain tracks.

One coat of white paint on outdoor walls and flat surface on the top. Paint supplied, no need to bring. Ladder or roller would be helpful for higher areas. Taking care is important, yet it’s a simple enough task. Maybe more general handyman tasks soon. Thanks!
