Need someone to finish stripping paint off a staircase handrail (Victorian terrace, N15) Hey! We started stripping the paint off our wood panelling and staircase handrail ourselves but got overwhelmed partway through. Now looking for someone to pick it up and finish the job properly. Photos attached show where we got to: some sections back to bare wood, other patches still with old paint layers and flaking bits. The upstairs bannister hasn't been stripped at all yet. Would be done in place (not removable, so no dipping) – heat gun, gel stripper, sanding, whatever finishes it off cleanly without chewing up the original timber. Given the age of the house please flag if you test for lead paint as part of the job. The quote here should be to get the panelling pictured fully stripped and the bannister rail itself, not the spindles. End goal is bare wood ready to stain/oil or varnish. Flexible on timing and on budget if the right team quotes

need the inside of the house painted, the pictures show the down stairs, upstairs there are 3 bedrooms one double and two singles that also require painting. i can supply the paint etc i have had quotes and looking for best price

Small loft en-suite bathroom, approximately 1m × 4m, needs redecorating. The main work is surface preparation rather than simply applying a fresh coat of paint. There is some peeling/flaking paint and a number of cracks that will need properly preparing and filling before painting. Work required: - Protect flooring, fittings and bathroom surfaces - Scrape/remove loose and peeling paint - Fill and repair cracks and minor surface imperfections - Sand and prepare walls/ceiling as needed - Apply suitable primer/sealer where required - Caulk where necessary - Paint walls/ceiling to a neat professional finish I will supply the final bathroom paint. Please provide your own normal decorating equipment and consumables, including dust sheets/protection, brushes/rollers, filler, caulk, sandpaper and primer/sealer as required. I already have all the paint and decorating materials, but I don’t have the tools, so the Tasker would need to bring the necessary tools and equipment. Painting our living, dining and wc

I have inadvertently touched up my house with silkwood paint instead of matt vinyl. I please need a decorator to sand the walls (Which are now dry) and reapply matt vinyl to some of the walls where touchups are needed. (Hallways, living room primarily but also minor touch ups needed in three bedrooms) This isn't a complete redecorating job, just making good what I've messed up! See pics. Two days estimated, from this Thursday.
