Job description I’m looking for a careful, experienced home-technology/AV installer or handyman to tidy and organise the cables in and underneath my TV cupboard in Richmond, TW9. There are TV and power cables, but the majority relate to my broadband/Wi‑Fi setup, including a router and Ethernet/network cables. I would like the area made much neater and easier to manage, with cables sensibly routed, secured and labelled if helpful. Please: Trace the cables before moving anything. Tidy and secure cables using suitable cable-management products, such as reusable Velcro ties, cable sleeves, clips, trunking or a cable box where appropriate. Keep power cables separate from network/AV cables where possible. Identify any cables that appear unused, but do not disconnect, cut or remove anything without checking with me first. Check that the TV, broadband, Wi‑Fi and any connected equipment are all working properly before you leave. Need help to set up chime extender to reach downstairs my router upstairs in lounge WiFi signal is hit and miss

My mum recently had a Hyperoptic modem installed in the hall for VoIP calls, as she has a landline, and all landlines will be digital by the end of the year. She wants to use the landline in the living room instead, so I bought her an RJ11 extension lead and cable clips to clip it to the wall and skirting. She also has carpeting and carpet bar door trims. I’m looking for someone to neatly run an Ethernet cable from my router in one room through to my home office. I already have: * 50m flat Cat 8 Ethernet cable (I expect most of this will be needed) * Approx. 200 adhesive flat cable clips The cable will need to be routed neatly around the property, ideally following skirting boards, door frames/edges etc. to keep it as discreet as possible. Important: I’m renting, so no drilling or permanent fixings can be used. The adhesive clips I have should be used wherever possible, or I’m happy to consider other removable/non-damaging solutions if you recommend something better. The main job is working out the neatest route and installing the cable securely from the router to the office, without it looking messy or creating a trip hazard. I already have the cable and clips ready to go.

Set up new Internet router

I have a 2Gb fibre line, however, wifi is only pushing 1gb next ro router and 300mbs in very next room. I want to know why.
