New router needing setting up within current house set up

Having issues setting up my new UDM Currently with talktalk internet (not fibre) Have purchased a Draytek 160 to act as modem. In router mode, I am successful in using ppoe. But dream machine doesn’t get an internet connection. I’m pretty lost.
