So you’ve recently made the purchase, but you’re not sure how to install a vented tumble dryer. We know not everyone’s good with tools and machinery. At Airtasker, we got you covered. Preparing the installation site
The moment you plan to install a new dryer, it’s important that your installation site is ready. Your Tasker will ensure all the connections and, depending on the type of dryer, the proper exhausts or vents should be ready and safe to use. Should there be any issues with vents, exhausts or electrical systems before your installation, you may need to get a handyman to have these checked.
Preparing your new dryer
Dryer installation technicians could also help you unbox your dryer if needed and check if there are any defects or damages if you’re not familiar. They can also help you check if everything supposed to be in the box is all accounted for. If you have an existing dryer, you could also ask them to disconnect and tear it out for you if they can. Then they’re going to have it ready to complete your condenser or vented tumble dryer installation.
Connecting your appliance
Not sure how to install a tumble dryer yourself? Don’t fret, since a Taske can take care of it for you. They take charge of connecting your appliance to the electrical socket. Hi, I need someone to help replace the drive belt on my Bosch Series 8 WTW87560GB heat pump tumble dryer. I’ve already removed the rear panel and bought the correct replacement belt — but I’ve realised the rest of the job is a bit more involved than I expected. The machine is partially disassembled and accessible from the top and rear. Ideally looking for someone who’s done this before and knows how to route the belt properly around the motor and tensioner.
