I have a room that is being renovated and is half way through construction. I have noticed a seriouse and long term water leak has been happening from the roof into the wall cavity making the wood rott. The inner walls have been removed making it easy to spot the leak. I have an aluminium roof that is a patchwork of interesting decisions. I am looking for someone to come and fix this particular problem and potentially other roof/gutter issues we are having. I put a $250 as the budget because the job could be siliconing the holes that are visible from the inside, however I am very flexabke on price depending on what work is required.

We are looking for someone experienced with roof repairs to inspect and fix a roof leak at our house. During rain, water appears to be entering around our wood stove and leaking through the ceiling near that area. The leak seems to come from around the penetration rather than through it, so it may be related to flashing, sealant, or waterproofing around the roof fitting. Scope of work: Inspect the roof area around the penetration to identify the source of the leak Repair or reseal flashing / waterproofing as needed Ensure the area is properly sealed to prevent future leaks The roof penetration is a metal pipe that goes through the roof. Roof access: The house is two storeys on the side where the leak is visible, but the roof is accessible from the opposite side which is single storey. Access should therefore be possible from that side, but appropriate roof safety equipment may still be required. Please bring appropriate tools and materials for a typical flashing/seal repair. If the issue requires a larger repair, we can discuss options after the inspection. Location: Aspley, 4034 Flexible with timing but ideally as soon as possible due to rain.
