I need underfloor insulation installed. Standard wool fibre insulation to be pushed up between joists. All insulation to be provided by me so this is just a simple installation job. Roof space is approx 140m2. It’s 1970’s. Old blow in insulation has been there probably since it was built and it looks like the old owners placed some random insulation batts on top. Maybe as part of the old vic govt scheme. We are looking to have a full clear out. No need to install new batts as I’ll do that myself, just looking for it to be cleaned and cleared out. I’ve had a few quotes from companies as a package with removal and then supply and install of new stuff. When my home was renovated, the builder was supposed to vacuum out the old insulation and install new ones. Unfortunately, they didn’t do it properly — there’s still old insulation left up there, and some of the new insulation is still in the bags. I need someone to vacuum and remove the old insulation properly, then install the new insulation across two bedrooms and the hallways in between. Access is through the ceiling manhole. You can give me your quote per square meter, so it's easier to adjust once we confirm the exact area. We would like someone to finish installing our underfloor insulation in our house on Coburg. We've done about 85 per cent ourselves, and are a bit over being under the house. The remainder is the bits that are a bit more difficult to get to, or are oddly shaped gaps, approx 10 squares metres. It's polyester insulation which is much easier to install than the glass fibre. No strapping required, you just staple the edges directly to the timber.

Vacuum clean approx 150sq meters of ceiling space and install Earthwool supplied And install 50sq meters of Earthwool to a ceiling that has had ceiling removed

I require someone to install rolls of underfloor insulation (supplied by me) under my house in Geelong West. I have made a start but unfortunately injured myself so cannot complete the job. You will need a stapler and must be able to work under the house in a confined space. Clearance under the house is mostly good since it has recently been restumped however a couple of tight spaces.
