Pre-sale handyman / property tidy-up – Bray Park – ASAP Looking for an experienced, reasonably priced handyman to tidy up a house before sale. This is not a renovation — the aim is to improve presentation and address obvious cosmetic wear as cost-effectively as possible. Work includes: * Replace approx. 5–6 light globes with cool/neutral white globes for brighter, consistent lighting. * Clean gutters and pressure wash/clean external gutters and eaves. * Tidy timber fencing by reattaching loose palings/panels, securing loose sections and straightening where practical. No full replacement required. * Patch, sand and touch-up paint approx. 20–30 small holes, dents and cracks, including minor cornice cracking/separation. * Repaint garage ceiling approx. 6m x 6m for a clean, uniform finish. * Replace 2 flyscreen/flywire door locks/latches. * General minor cosmetic tidy-ups while onsite. * Replace one cracked light switch if appropriately licensed; otherwise I’ll arrange an electrician. To meet the selling agent at the property, who can walk through and point out the specific items needing attention. Looking for a practical, economical finish rather than perfection. Require solar panels to be cleaned and blow roof to remove leafs. We have gutter guard but need the settled leafs blown away from under solar panels, top of gutter guard and roof valleys.

Hi, I have an issue with part of my plasterboard ceiling. There are several nail/screw pops in the ceiling. The fixing bites initially, but the ceiling still drops slightly when pushed, and the nails/screws themselves aren’t visible — only the small holes are visible. There is no obvious sag, but one corner/section of the ceiling feels springy. I suspect there may be a gap between the plasterboard and the ceiling framing, or that the adhesive/glue has failed. I would like to know whether you can properly re-secure the plasterboard to the framing, rather than just patching the holes. Thank you

Looking for someone experienced with cat enclosures/netting to cat-proof my existing patio and small backyard area in North Lakes. I want a simple, neat and lightweight enclosure using black cat-proof netting, rather than a traditional freestanding catio or large steel-framed structure. The goal is simply for my cats to safely use this outdoor space without being able to escape. Photos of the area are attached. What I’m looking for: * Black UV/weather-resistant cat-proof netting * Enclose the open sides and overhead areas as necessary to make the space fully escape-proof * Preferably use existing structures (house/eaves, timber screening/fence etc.) as fixing points where suitable * Small brackets, eyelets, anchors, tension cable/wire or other low-profile supports are fine * Netting should be properly tensioned and neat * All gaps/corners/roofline areas secured so cats cannot squeeze or climb out * Existing doors/access to remain usable Important: I may sell the property in the future, so I want the enclosure to be reasonably easy to remove if a future owner doesn’t want it. I want to avoid large steel frames, permanent structural posts, concrete footings or anything unnecessarily difficult to dismantle. Some drilling/small permanent fixing points are completely fine. I just want the installation to be relatively unobtrusive and reversible, with minimal damage if removed later. I’m happy for you to recommend the safest fixing method for the space. Please let me know if you have experience with cat-proof netting/enclosures and whether you can supply the netting/hardware as well as install it.

Hi, I’m looking for someone to repair/replace damaged gutter and downpipe sections at my single-storey house. There are 3 separate areas around the house: * Two areas have rusted/damaged gutter sections. * One area has a damaged/rusted downpipe. * Only the damaged sections need to be replaced, not the entire gutter/downpipe system.
