Had cleaned the ceiling and wall with sugar soap then cut and painted 1 coat of tinted primer, cut and painted the ceiling with 3 coats of British Paints Clean and Protect Matt Black, cut and painted the wall with 4 coats of British Paints Clean and Protect Matt Black. Painting of a 4x5 meter steel mezzanine and wooden ceiling. 1.The steel mezzanine is currently blue and has a few areas with surface rust that need to be lightly sanded and probably primed before being painted black. As shown in the picture, the mezzanine consists of a 4x5 meter grid of rafters at the top and has three legs visible, the other legs are hidden. 2. The wooden ceiling consists of the underside of yellow tongue wooden boards that make the floor of the room above. It currently has one coat of white primer- it may need a second coat before the application of a gray cement effect paint from Dulux which requires troweling between each of the three coats. All paint aside from the steel primer (not sure if it's needed) is onsite and ready to go.
