I’m looking for someone experienced to install a dog door at my home in Collingwood. It will be going into an existing timber external door for my 10 kg Mini Cavoodle. The dog door work would include: • Cutting and installing the La Luna Aluminium Pet Door. • Ensuring the position and height are suitable for my dog. • Sealing all exposed timber after cutting. • Filling/sanding any gaps if required. • Priming and painting the cut area on both the inside and outside of the door to match the existing door colour and finish. While looking at the door, I’d also appreciate your help with a few other issues: • The door lock is not aligned properly, so it doesn’t lock unless positioned carefully. • The door is slightly jammed and difficult to open and close smoothly. • There is a cracked clear single glass panel in the door that I’d like replaced (if this is something you can do). Since it's unfortunately a glass door, you'd need to: - Remove the lower glass panel (does not need to be kept) - Supply and fit a timber panel into the lower frame - Paint the timber panel white to match the existing door. - Install a medium/large dog door (supplied by me, dog is a 22kg staffy cross) into the new timber panel. I recently brought my cat to live with me in a rental share house. He needs to be able to come and go from my room at night, but I don't want to sleep with my bedroom door open. I have purchased a second-hand door, and a cat flap. The new door is exactly same size as my current bedroom door (standard 820 x 2040 x 35mm, hollow in the middle). The handles are at the same height. I'd like to have a cat flap installed into the new door, have my current bedroom door removed for safe storage, and have the new door installed into the frame.
