We have an ugly fireplace that is taking up a wall that we could use for something else. The hearth has been removed already but we need the mantel and brick surround dismantled/removed. Basically, we want it ready for a plasterer to come in and fill up the gap left behind. We don't believe it's load-bearing but aren't sure.
