Replace an external door with a new one. I can purchase the new door myself for your installation. Dimensions are roughly 2025mm tall, 810mm wide, 33mm deep. It is for a place I am renting and I will reinstall the existing door when I move out so this doesn't need to look perfect. There is no need for any fancy locks as the door leads out to an enclosed outdoor area that cannot be accessed by people from outside.

Hi! We’re looking for someone to inspect and fix a door in our house that makes a very loud banging noise when it closes. The door is used frequently throughout the day, and the only way to prevent it from making a loud banging noise is to close it extremely slowly and carefully. Even closing it slightly faster than that can sometimes cause a loud bang. We’re looking for a permanent solution so the door can be closed normally without making so much noise. We’d like someone to check the hinges, latch and overall mechanism to see if it can be adjusted or if a soft-close mechanism or door closer could be installed. Ideally, we’re looking for a permanent solution so the door can close smoothly and quietly without needing extra care every time. My B&D electric garage door is currently not opening properly. The motor and chain are running normally, but the door only opens about 10 cm and then stops. One of the timber boards on my garage door has some rot along the bottom, as shown in the photo. Is it possible to repair and fill the damaged section rather than replacing the whole board? There is another board with a smaller area of rot, approximately 3–5 cm wide and about 30 cm long. The third board only has a small amount of rot at one corner, roughly a 2–3 cm right-angle section. Could you please have a look and let me know whether these areas can be repaired, or if the boards need to be replaced?

Looking for a handy-person to install draught-proofing on our front timber door: Perimeter Seals: Install the supplied EcoMaster Draught Dodgers kit on the top and side door stops. Bottom Drop Seal: Remove the existing brass bottom strip on the exterior face and install a replacement Raven RP3 drop-down seal. Crucial: We have a eufy smart lock installed. Both seals must be adjusted so the door closes naturally and the motorized deadbolt locks freely without binding or requiring extra pushing force. i have a garage door made out of sedder, i just need someone to paint over the protective coatc that i will purchase on the front oand back of the garage - potentially light sand first.. then i just need the interal door paited natural white - i have hte paint for (probably x 2 coats...
