Find experienced door knob replacement pros in VIC

I'm replacing an old internal passage door knob and have already removed the existing knobs, spindle, fixing plates and screws. The old 70 mm backset latch is still inside the timber door and I haven’t been able to remove it. The latch moves freely towards the edge of the door, but fixed metal/brass projections on the latch body prevent it from passing through the existing edge bore. I don’t want to force it or damage/enlarge the door unnecessarily. I’m looking for someone experienced with door hardware/older Gainsborough-style latches who can: • Safely remove the remaining old latch mechanism without damaging the door • Install my supplied new 70 mm Gainsborough passage latch • Install my supplied Delf Marbella passage knob set using the supplied/compatible spindle I already have • Check the existing strike alignment and adjust only if required • Make sure the knob turns smoothly and the door opens, closes and latches correctly The door already has an approximately 54 mm face bore and 25 mm edge bore, with a 70 mm backset. All new hardware is already supplied. Ideally looking for an experienced handyman, carpenter or locksmith who is comfortable removing older door hardware and can complete the installation neatly without unnecessarily enlarging or damaging the existing door

Remove an existing old door knob with a stripped screw that requires drilling into and/or a screw extractor. Install a new door knob, including fitting a standard doorknob latch into a round edge bore and faceplate.

Unlock my apartment door

I need someone to remove my current doorknob and install a new lockable doorknob that I already have (or can discuss if you can supply one). The job should include removing the old handle, fitting the new one properly, and making sure the lock works smoothly and the door closes correctly. Looking for someone with experience installing door hardware.

The front door knob of my elderly mother-in-law’s home is not properly latching shut when you attempt to close it. We will require someone with their own tools + replacement parts (if required) to repair the door handle so it can close properly.

Doorknob on one side isn’t catching the latch internally and just turns endlessly - therefore meaning the door locks from one side as you can’t engage the latch to open it.
