🔧 ROLLER SHUTTER REPAIR Looking for an experienced handyman or roller shutter technician to repair a motorised roller shutter that has partially failed. SITUATION: Large aluminium motorised roller shutter (approx 3m wide) over a window. The plastic axle end insert/bearing inside the barrel has disintegrated (30+ year old unit), causing the barrel to drop out of its end bracket. The shutter is currently stuck in the closed position and propped safely. WHAT'S NEEDED: • Remove old/broken plastic axle end insert from barrel • Supply and fit replacement octagonal axle insert with bearing (part identified — ~$35 from Shutter Masters AU, can order prior to job or tasker to supply) • Re-seat barrel correctly into end brackets • Test that shutter can be operated manually (motor assessment optional/secondary) • Re-rivet or screw housing lid back on SITE DETAILS: • Housing lid already removed (rivets drilled out) • Ladder access required — barrel is at eave height • Two people may be needed to lift and seat the barrel ( i can help with manual labour) IDEAL TASKER: Roller shutter technician, handyman with shutter experience, or capable general tradesperson. 1) One of our cornices (4.8m) has fallen off one of our rooms a month ago. The fallen piece has been bent at one spot (see photos) with cracks where it is bent, but not completely detached. Would like it put back in place and the cracks and the cornice smooth out, and the 2 small ceiling brown strips/ patches (near the left of the fallen cornice - see photos) painted over. 2) A small corner of the cornice from another part of the house has fallen off (see photos). I do have the fallen piece (see photo). Would like that put back in place and smoothed out.

Corner kitchen cupboard needs new hinge replacements. I also don’t know which hinges to get from Bunnings so I need help there too. You’ll need a power tool, they’re not unscrewing manually

Roll shutter rope needs fixing

We need new 4 cornices cut and install on the ceiling we do have new plaster cornices Also the ceiling plaster fixed around ceiling lamp

My under mount double kitchen sink that was installed 10 years ago has had the cement or fixing underneath deteriorated and dropped. Needs to be held up again with an appropriate cement / glue ? and re siliconed. Thank you
