Electrician needed to fix my electrical blinds, Sompy blind connector broken, wires have pulled out of the contacts in the connector. I need a licensed electrician to repair the power connection on a Somfy motorised roller blind. The existing proprietary Somfy inline connector has been damaged — the wires have pulled out of the connector terminals. Rather than trying to source the original Somfy connector, I would like both mating halves removed and replaced with a readily available, good-quality 240V inline connector. The blind motor has a 2-core brown/blue cable. The replacement connector needs to be appropriately rated for 230–240V mains, compact enough to fit neatly within the blind installation, properly strain-relieved and compliant for the application. The blind has already been removed, so access is very easy. I have the blind, motor and existing connector available. Looking to have this completed today if possible. Please supply the suitable replacement male/female inline connector and terminate both sides.

I have an older-style vertical blind that needs a couple of small repairs: The pull cord has come off/out of the rail, so the blind no longer moves across the window. It needs to be repaired/rethreaded so it moves across properly again. One of the bottom weights has a piece missing on the end and needs replacing. I believe this should be a fairly standard/easy-to-find part. The blind itself is otherwise fine, so I’m just looking for a simple, inexpensive repair rather than replacement. There is some of the bottoms that the material has come off a little and a chain needs a link but not much.

Power drill to remove wooden blind connector brackets (per picture taken). Help to lift blinds from apartment to curb on street (elevator not stairs) for hard rubbish collection date on Thursday. Can do so from 6pm Wed. Should only take 30 mins max. Some of screws in connector brackets may have lost thread and need drill bit to punch through. Wooden blinds are quite heavy. 2 people (I can help) to lift 1 to 2 blinds per trip to curb.

The blind fell off from the roller, I am guessing its because of the glue.
