Looking for an experienced automatic gate technician to inspect and repair a solar-powered automatic driveway gate. The gate is currently not operating correctly and needs troubleshooting to identify the issue, which may involve motor, controller, sensors, remote system, or gate mechanism. Pre-existing automatic sliding gate in the property has a motor that is no longer functional and needs replacement. 240Vac power is available and functional. No electrical work required. Supply and install a new motor to drive the gate.

The gate gets stuck part-way when opening or closing. I suspect something is wrong with one of the gears as it doesn’t appear to be an issue with the electronics. I can get it to open/close if I give it a hard push while pressing the remote.

Gate opens but does not stop at the end, possible issue with limit switch. It then goes in a loop and doesn’t stop until button pressed. Only moves one way, not two ways.

My timber gate has broken the timber post it was hinged to. The existing post needs to be removed, a new treated pine post installed in concrete, and the gate rehung with the existing hinges if possible. The gate should be aligned so it opens and closes properly.

I have a pair of gates that need new support wheels fitted to keep them square so they will open easily. Timber securing hinges to timber door needs replacing (as do the hinges). I have timber, hinges and screws just need install. You will need a few nails. Timber is hard wood.

Looking for a handyman or fencer to reinstall a timber gate with steel frame that was removed on side of our house for construction in the backyard.
