My dog has chewed some of our skirting boards that are on our floating floorboards. Need someone to measure up, cut and install new ones (they’re just from Bunnings). Some need to be done on a 90 degree angle but not all

Some water dropped from heating to sub floor, the subfloor has been treated, however, carpet has been pulled up and skirting board taken off due to some mould. Need carpet relaid (we have plenty spare) and skirting board replaced… likely a trip to Bunnings required. Not sure on costs, but will pay for any materials so assume budget range is for labour only. Looking for genuine offers from those who have the ability to do task 🙏

A plumber fixed a leak behind my hallway wall weeks ago, and one hole was cut open up high. The wall cavity has been open for weeks and is completely bone-dry. I need a handyman to patch the hole and treat some minor dry mold residue at the base.Scope of work : Clean the black mold residue from the skirting board joint at the base of the wall using a mold-killer spray. Patch the existing open drywall square up high Tape, mud, and flush the joints smoothly. Sand the patch perfectly flat so the entire wall is 100% ready for painting. Provide and install shower unit to replace old damaged unit Dispose of old shower glass and frame. Replace rotten skirting board in front of the shower .

I have two bedrooms that I am getting floorboards put in. Have removed the existing skirting boards prior to the floor boards, Wanting someone to come in and install new skirting boards. My plan is to paint the boards after installation, so wanting a primed MDF It will be about 3 walls of each bedroom. Total linear metre about 20 metres. See plan I will pay for the skirting boards separately. Cost is for installation labour which includes the installation, filling in nail holes/mitre joint gaps etc, sand of filled areas. The wall is plasterboard i believe. The floor has been levelled so hoping the board will be flush to the floorboards, but if not will need to trim the bottom the board accordingly Hoping to have this done later in the week eg Wed/Thurs/Friday

Fixing skirting boards for study

We had a flood in our home a few years back. Everything is fixed but the skirting boards. Ive attached a photo of where (in pink) the skirting boards need to go. Potentially might do the whole house depending on cost. May need cupboard and doorways replaced too depending on cost so that the new skirting boards dont look odd. House is 25sqm. Would like an estimate on what it might cost to fix up. Unknown cost as there are a couple options involved.

Looking for a handy man to complete a few odd jobs around my house. I am hoping to replace a towel rail that is currently falling off the wall. It is screwed into the tiles and the plugs seem to have given way, so i'm not sure what the best way to fix it would be. I also have a loose tap handle in my kitchen sink that i'd like to have repaired. I also have a skirting board that needs a nail in it to rejoin to the bottom of my kitchen bench.

Install the skirting using adhesive and fixings. Ensure everything is level and neatly finished. Remove and dispose of any offcuts. I will complete the filling, caulking, sanding and painting myself, so I'm only looking for the skirting to be professionally installed. The room is empty and has easy access. Hi I need a skilled carpenter to install an internal door for me. I also need a skirting board replaced. I’ve already purchased a door (not pre hung) hinges and the skirting. Door handles to be swapped from previous door. If possible putty to also be applied to the small part of damaged door frame (I don’t have any putty you would need to bring). Please have insurance.

I have timber rot in the lower section of an external ground floor door frame (bottom of the jamb on one side). The timber is soft and needs to be properly cut out and repaired or replaced. There is also a section of internal skirting board nearby that needs replacing to match the existing profile. Scope: - Cut out and replace rotten section of door jamb - Replace damaged internal skirting board (ideally is but doesn’t need to be a perfect match) - Leave ready for painting The door opens onto a brick-paved courtyard. There may be moisture contributing to the damage, so I’m looking for someone experienced who can advise on the correct long-term fix. This is an older solid brick home in Melbourne.
