Hello Contractor, This is a two-part job: **Part 1 – Garden Clean-Up** Sweep and remove all sand from the footpaths and pavers, returning it to the existing sandy areas. Fill in any holes dug by the dogs and tidy the sandy areas so the garden looks presentable. There is no requirement to replace sand or completely level the garden, as these areas have always been sandy. Previously, this has only taken a couple of hours. **Part 2 – Installation of Fence** Install a fence approximately 1 metre high to enclose the pergola area, returning into the garden at one section, as shown in the provided image. The purpose is to restrict the dogs to one designated area rather than allowing them access to the entire backyard. We are open to different materials, although wooden lattice fencing may be the easiest and most practical option. Looking for a handyman available soon to realign and fix back gate. It is a small colourbond gate that closes. The end of the frame was screwed into a brick wall but one of the bolts snapped off. New hole in brick wall was required that I didn’t put at the right height and made a bit of a mess of so the latch won’t close. I have run out of time and don’t have the right tools for the drop before I head away tomorrow and need the gate to lock. A quick handyman job if you’ve got a drill. Have new plugs and bolts. Extra points if you’ve got some extra time and are available to rescrew my garden shed door so that it also closes. (Can raise price of job if required).

Looking for someone handy to do a very basic, low-cost repair to an old timber boundary fence and remove the pile of branches/garden waste shown in the photos. The fence was installed before I purchased the property, and there are gaps underneath in several spots, including around a corner. I want to make sure a small dog cannot squeeze underneath or escape through these gaps. I’m open to suggestions on the best way to fix this. Ideally, I’d like a solution that is: -Secure and dog-proof, with no gaps a small dog could squeeze through. -Neat and discreet, so it looks like a proper finish rather than a temporary patch. -Durable and weather-resistant, and suitable for the existing fence and ground conditions. -Cost-effective. Attached are the photos of current fencing arrangement. The current Timber fence posts (vertical) are creating obstruction for a new build to commence for the garage wall. Need the fence posts to be relocated for a section of about 8 meters without removing the fence completely. That section will not have the posts in the ground. Open for alternative solutions. The purpose is to create a secure area for our dog and chickens. I have already purchased the main materials, so I’m mainly looking for labour and installation. Fence: • Approximately 30m of fencing • 1.2m high Jack Pro Series Heavy Duty Dog Mesh, already purchased • 15 × 1.7m steel fence posts, already purchased • Posts approximately 2m apart, adjusted as needed • Posts to be driven approximately 50–60cm into the ground • Mesh securely attached to the posts with galvanised tie wire • Bottom of mesh needs to be secured well to prevent the dog digging underneath. Looking for someone to install a Sureguard Pingg-String cat containment system on the timber paling fence at my property in Augustine Heights. Total fence perimeter is approximately 58 metres. All components have been purchased and will be provided on the day. This includes insulated cable, extension kits, end post kits and energiser included. The job involves mounting bracket arms and insulators along the top of the fence, running and tensioning the wire angled inward toward the yard and rigging the gate loop over the single gate. The energiser position will need to be assessed and decided on the day based on what works best for the setup. It needs to be installed in a north-facing position with access to full sun. There is one fold-down clothesline mounted to the fence that will need the wire routed carefully around it with extra insulators either side to avoid contact with the metal frame. No drilling into structures required as all fixing is into timber palings. Happy to be home on the day to show you around the property before you start.
