Gates hang on posts, not masonry. Gate hardware: weld-in lock box or heavy-duty hasp; drop bolt into floor socket on passive leaf; welded/non-removable hinge pins + capture stud; adjustable hinges; max 15mm bottom clearance; must open from inside without a key. Confirm swing direction at the measure. Finish: powder coated or pre-painted charcoal/dark grey. Cold-gal all welds and cut edges. Bottom rail: plain straight RHS, mesh terminating above it. Build to existing paver level. SITE Floor: loose pavers on sand. Per footing, lift 2-3 pavers, dig 300-400mm, pour, reinstate. Both gate posts sit near the paver-to-slab junction - tell me how you'd found them. Walls: anchor into brick units, not mortar joints. Chemical anchors may be needed. Soffit: lined sheet. Locate joists/battens, or make the frame self-supporting. Services: wall-mounted equipment and conduit inside the bay must not be obstructed or built over. Looking for someone to build a timber batten screen and a straight panel fence (like pool fencing but not for a pool) with 2 gates (total length of screen and fence is approx 13m) preferably before 11 October. The fence post is rotted at the base. It's also half way along a 6.3m expanse. I would happily take your advice, I think it would be smarter to just install two brand new fence posts. You can advise if you think it's worth replacing the palings (i think they are fine for now). it's the creamy yellow fence in the images. One image shows it last week when it was falling over, and the other today, since my brother visited and helped me wedge it upright with a piece of H2.

We had child safety gates installed last month at the top and bottom of our staircase, but unfortunately they were not installed properly. The staircase opening is wider than the gates, so the previous installer added some timber to fill the gap. I require two fence brackets to be installed. One bracket to be installed on the front face of a main timber post and the other to be installed on the side face of the post (this post is on the corner). Along with that, there are some eye screws, turnbuckles and wire mesh, wire rope and accompanied wire rope grips to be installed as well. This task is to prevent our cats from scaling the fence. The length of this installation is 3.7m as shown in the picture attached. Red lines are indicative of the brackets, blue lines are indicative of the wire rope. The wire mesh should be fixed to this.
