Have an old deck that is lacking balustrade wire. Wanting wire installed right around deck to bring it up to standard 80-100mm apart but mainly to keep dog on deck from jumping down into backyard. At moment using temporary mesh wire. Thinking 8 wires evenly spaced. Exact measurements in photo

1.2m high pool fence for swim spa roughly 8m by 4m with gate. Fence to run along edge of slab and then gate near opening close to fence. Timber deck inside the gated area that steps up toward the corner / spa end of swim spa for entry.

Supply & install galvanised steel welded dog mesh (rigid not rolls), preferably black or brown, openings 50mm x 50mm, wire diameter 3-4mm. Attach to existing metal balustrade fence to prevent dog escape. Length approx 12m, height 1.0-1.1m from top of concrete at base to top of horizontal fence top.

Hi Airtaskers We are looking to put up a timber / wire balustrade / fence for a backyard deck. Deck material: Tiled deck over concrete slab. Deck size: 5.9m x 3.3m (approx) The fencing is to comprise of about 9 timber posts that are 90mm x 90mm. The timber posts are to be anchored into the concrete by a bracket which has a single 10mm x 100mm concrete screw. The wires for the fence are spaced at about 8mm up the post, with the post height being about 960mm. You will need to supply all tools for the installation of the posts (eg: drills, bits, hydraulic swager, wire cutter, etc). I will supply materials. Photos posted for context. Hi there, one of our glass balustrade pool fence has come down in all this wind. Need someone to re-screw it strongly to the timber again & check the other panels to make sure they are secure. Its at an airbnb in Jamberoo

There is a temporary balustrade that needs to be rebuilt. Happy for a fencing contractor or trades person to remove or build a new wall in waterproof marine ply. Or alternatively, prepared to put temporary pool fencing if it could be bolted into structure at same height. It does not need to be a clad wall, just pool fencing bolted into slab. So either reinstate existing and clad, or replace with a solid aluminum fence that is compliant. Willing to pay $500 for patch up existing or $1.5k for aluminum fencing.

Repair and strengthen timer posts (rotten at the bottom ) maybe by galvanised steel bracket between the posts and the timber deck .

We have just purchased a house in Collaroy Plateau which is not puppy proof for our German Shepherd. The perimeter fences are dog proof but there are no gates on either side of the house. We need someone who can build two gates that are dog proof and that fit in with the timber work on the house such as the balustrade and timber slat cladding on the ground floor. We would like you to measure up the gates and agree on a design with us on the Saturday 25/5 then come back the next week to make and swing them. There may be a fixed panel required to fill the opening aswell. I won't have any photos until Saturday when we move in. The gate goes across the top of the steps with a fixed panel across the top of the drop and we want it to blend in with the slats as shown in the other pic. About 1400 to 1600mm high should do but will be guided by you. The other side of the house is same type of gate and similar size.
