Hi Airtaskers, I live in an apartment unit and would like to arrange the installation of two internal and one external weatherproof power point. Internal power points: These will be installed on a drywall. There is an existing power point on the opposite side of the wall, which should make wiring more straightforward. External power point: This can either be installed on the balcony drywall (which has a 1-gang switch directly opposite), or on the concrete wall where the outdoor air conditioning unit is located—whichever is more suitable for the installation. The power points I would like to use are the Clipsal Iconic Double Switched Power Point - 10A Horizontal Mount in Vivid White. We have a two storey building we are doing a theatre work in and require lighting bars installed on both levels today. We also need a very small room built with the flats we have and a ceiling put on it to attach the bars to. Floorplan attached. Lighting bars are red. Small room space is circled in yellow. Fix an exiting circuit that has issue

I’m looking for someone who can repair a lamp. It currently has an older thread cord and makes crackling sounds when turned on - so new wires are needed.

I need 25 downlights fitted and 4 power points.

I have a faulty GPO that is making crackling noises and passing electricity through it when the switches are switched off. Issue has occurred since the room was painted - may just be coincidence I need a qualified electrician to test and resolve the fault Thanks

Hi All! My mum in Footscray is having some laundry cupboards installed Fri/Sat. I was wondering if a Sparky could put in an extra PowerPoint in the wall and an LED light under the bench top… My cabinet maker said he would just need to know the width of the LED light to cut out the bottom of the over cupboards before they go in. It would be approx 1050mm in length. I guess we would need a switch for this too - maybe on the same power point? I can put you in touch with her to discuss the finer details. :)

Need an electrician to diagnose and fix my ceiling fan. The fan turns on when switch is activated, but is slow on all speeds. It makes a low whirring sound. Flexible on dates and times but must be completed before March 19th.

Looking for a qualified electrician to install an outdoor fan to our verandah, the verandah already has power run to it. Install a digital timer relay to the 15A circuit that a spa runs off. Relay has already been purchased but hasn't been delivered just yet. Swap two standard internal light switches to new units. One is a single two way switch at the bottom of the stairs, the other is a double two way switch at the top of the stairs. The light switches have already been purchased. The lights in my 2x bathrooms have gone out and need replacing (6 down lights in total). They are ceiling LED lights. They have started flashing and some have turned off. There are also 2 outdoor lights that I would like replaced as well. I would need them to be purchased and installed. I can dispose of the old ones unless wanted by installer. I had a new power point installed for the sole purpose of connecting my modem to it. There is an existing phone line in the wall cavity that was repositioned for easy connection to the modem, however it is just the cable with no socket. I need a new socket attached to the cable. The electrician that installed the power point has allowed space for a telephone socket on the recessed wall plate (see pictures attached).

Need someone to remove these pipes and wires. We created a garden bed alongside the house but upon digging, found wires connecting to little lights along the timber. We removed the lights and dug up wiring but have now found that the source connects further (unsure where). Need someone to come and either find the source/ remove, or simply remove the wiring from ground level and put something on the wiring to section off the electrical. Everything you see in the picture is loose, until you get to the pipe leading into the ground. Not sure if I need a plumber or electrician. Thanks!
