I will use this power point to charge my electric car overnight. I am not an electrician, but I've seen some suggestions online that for this type of power consumption it'll have to be 40A RCBO and 10mm2 running cable. I haven't yet got the charging cable, but I'm planning to buy this one: https://inchargex.com.au/products/portable-ev-charger-32a-5pin-7kw It is approximately 20m between my switch board and the garage wall. My house has single phase connection only.
