Background * I have a server which was used for a work project in 2019 * I'd now like to set this server up on my home/wfh network securely Scope of work * Set-up server (Synology DS1817+) onto home network and manual connections; * Server will be access from MacBook Air and MacBook Pro via Netgear hardware, AGL provider (NBN) * Check all ports are secure (NB. New credentials may need to be set up). * Assist with maximising efficiency and processing speeds; Additional * In person preferred. However, remote access can be provided via TeamViewer (further to ID verification). * Demonstrated IT experience preferred.

We need an IT technician/engineer to install a pre-configured server and setup several peripheral devices, under instruction and with assistance from our HQ in Perth. The helper should be competent and confident configuring Windows 10/11 workstations, and familiar with ISP routers and associated networking equipment to the point of connecting to the them and providing our engineers remote access to his workstation. Assume this to be a days onsite work, final price to be based on skillset and hence amount of assistance/supervision needed. A technical chat with our engineers will be required to firm up price and assess skillset before choosing a helper.

I have an email set up with Bluehost, however, when I send emails, I have noticed some of my emails have not been getting through to my recipients. A friend of mine just gave me his enterprise server. It’s a beast of a machine but it is not sending its true 10gbe signal from the port. I believe it may be a physical issue, which would require to open it up reinstall the port. Alongside this I need to reset and reinstall my two network switches with new passwords but same configurations. Cheers
