I’m building ikea pax wardrobes, and before I lock them in to place would like to fill the gaps between the wardrobe and chimney breast with MDF boards (will need you to source). 4 thin panels in total. I will paint them later

I have six counter stools and feel they are too low for the bar area they sit at. The seat height is 64 cm and I think they need to be about 6-7 cm higher. As I really still like the stools I’m wondering if it’s possible to get a carpenter/furniture maker to raise them about 6-7 cm. So 24 legs in total! I am quite open to this would be done but the options include splicing extensions into the bottoms of the legs, or making timber leg extensions in a style that fits for example maybe more of a foot on the end.

I’ve had an old oven removed from my kitchen and have purchased a dishwasher to go into the same space. The dishwasher does not currently fit because the existing cabinet opening needs to be modified. Dishwasher: Bosch Series 6 free-standing dishwasher, 45cm wide, model SPS6IKI01A Dishwasher dimensions: 845mm high x 450mm wide x 600mm deep It also has a 30mm removable worktop, so height may potentially be reduced to approx. 815mm if appropriate. Current opening is approx: * Width: 580mm * Height: 700mm * Depth: 546mm * Bottom of current opening sits approx. 115mm above the floor I need someone with carpentry/cabinetry experience to prepare the space so the dishwasher can slide in under the existing benchtop. The job may involve removing/modifying the white cabinet framing and raised base/plinth, keeping the existing benchtop in place, ensuring the benchtop remains properly supported, and adding a support panel/leg/bracket if needed. The underside of the cooktop/stove protrudes slightly into the space on one side, so this will also need to be checked as it may affect the dishwasher fit. Ideally, I’d also like filler panels/trim added on either side of the dishwasher so it looks more built-in, depending on what is practical within the budget. I already have a plumber lined up for the plumbing/water connection. This task is only for the cabinetry/carpentry preparation before the plumber attends. Please only make an offer if you have experience with kitchen cabinetry/carpentry modifications and are comfortable working around an existing cooktop. I do not expect any gas/electrical work to be done unless you are licensed. Please include in your offer whether filler panels/trim are included, or whether your offer is just to modify the opening and support the benchtop. The width of the door is 80cm 3: inserting railing for clothes hanging. The length of the railing should be around 2.8meter. Its needs to be strong to hold heavy clothes 4: drilling 4 holes for masonry bolts in the concrete with 14mm drill bit for future cupboards. I don’t have any material. Material needs to be purchased. I’m looking for a carpenter or such that could have a go at restoring some wooden French doors.

One corner kitchen cabinet door has come off completely at one hinge so I fully removed it so it needs to be reattached. I doo not know if the hinges need to be replaced. The other does not close properly I think because there are two different types of hinges on it. I need it to close properly so may also need new hinges.

I need a cooker hood to be installed in my house. I have attached photos of where and what the Good Guys recommended. Basically, it is under the stairs of a small town house. The wall the cooker is adjoining my neighbours property and there is no vent or flue to go outside so I'll need the charcoal range hood. Please let me know thoughts and if this is a job for you. We need a carpenter/handyman with a drill and cobalt drill bit who knows what he is doing, to drill 24 holes into a dense jarrah table top (made from old verandah floorboards) and then screw in the legs. The jarrah is very dense, very tough and hard to penetrate so you'll need the right equipment

Looking for an experienced handyman to complete a few jobs around my property. Ideally someone reliable who can handle a mix of small repairs and light carpentry. Jobs (in priority order): 1. Reattach ceiling light in storage room. Light has come loose and needs to be safely secured back into the ceiling. Should be a straightforward fix 2. Install 4 x curtain rods. Standard rods from Spotlight. Walls are plaster. Need neat, level install 3. Replace timber beam(s) supporting backyard trellis (approx. 4–5m total). This job is slightly bigger. Existing timber is rotting and needs replacing. Identify appropriate timber and I will purchase from Bunnings. Ideally beams installed and painted/sealed for durability 4. Repair sliding/roller door track (kitchen/hallway). Door is currently difficult to slide. Likely needs adjustment, track repair, or roller replacement. Looking for someone who can complete all tasks in one visit (or across two days if needed) if possible. Need completed by 7 April (day after Easter long weekend).
